An Almost Flat Car

Look at that! I found this picture on the net a while ago when I was browsing the net to look for quality headlights & tail lights for my Toyota car. But before I found what I was actually searching for, I landed to a site that featured this particular car. It isn’t just a conventional car, is it?

This is the Pininfarina Modulo. So weird that I can’t help myself but love it. Oh how much I wanted to seat in front of the Modulo and hit that ride. It appears to me like a space ship - a ship running on wheels, that is.

The Paninfarina Modulo was a concept designed by Ferrari in 1970. It was one among the three Paninfarina concepts that was released. The car is almost flat and a horizontal line separates the upper and lower halves. The wheels are almost covered that you will see only the half of its wheels.

Basically, the car concept was designed as the 512S racing chassis was used but the body was one of the most radical versions made of the era. I wish they have made it available on sale. Hmm… well if they did, you might have seen me first on the line to buy that. Love it!
