Probably, most of you are excited for the upcoming 2007 Classic Motor Show, which will be held at Birmingham’s NEC on November 9 to 11. Got any idea what will be on the spotlight?

Well, some of the stunning Volvo cars never been seen in the UK before will be on display in Hall 1 of the NEC to represent eight different decades that have passed.

So, expect these nine rare Volvos in the show:

  1. Volvo PV655 Norrmalm drophead coupe 1933 – A magnificent one-off, generally considered to be the world’s most beautiful Volvo. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  2. Volvo 445 Valbo convertible 1953 – Built on the 445 light truck chassis, this is one of five survivors out of 10 originally built. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  3. Volvo Sport 1956 – Often referred to as the P1900 this nice sportscar with its original plastic body carries chassis number 1. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  4. Volvo 122S Amazon Coune convertible 1963 – The only rolling example of the five open Amazons built by Belgian carrossier Jacques Coune. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  5. Volvo 480 convertible prototype 1990 – One of the two prototypes built by Volvo Car B.V. as design and feasibility studies. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  6. Volvo C70 T5 convertible 2008 – The current open top Volvo in the model range is offered with a broad range of engine alternatives. (courtesy of Volvo Cars Heritage)
  7. Volvo PV36 “Carioca” 1936 – Only 500 were built of this streamlined pre-war Volvo and this is the only one in the UK. (courtesy of Volvo Owners Club)
  8. Volvo 1800S 1965 – The winner of several councours awards, this is one of the best 1800s in existence and it is still in regular use. (courtesy of Volvo Owners Club)
  9. Volvo 780 Bertone coupe 1990 – Designed and built by Bertone in Italy, this was the top-of-the-line Volvo during the second half of the 1980s. (courtesy of Volvo Owners Club)

Those vehicles, featured in easier.com, will mark the milestone of Volvo in celebrating its 80th year since the first Volvo car left the Gothenburg factory in Sweden. All of them are definitely rare. In fact, some are even the only examples in existence.

The visitors will be introduced to some lesser known parts of the Volvo product history, far from what we could easily get online like Volvo S60 parts and others. They will also have the chance to see the older cars that are considerably famous outside of Sweden.

So by now, I guess, you have the reason to be even more thrilled to witness UK’s best classic motoring exhibition.
